Project Description
This is the final project for my level design class. This demo has three levels:
1. Overworld
2. Storage room
3. Lighthouse.
The player needs to help the old lighthouse keeper navigate around this tropical island and search for a new light bulb(in the storage room) to replace the broken one on top of the lighthouse.(Check out the video for a complete walkthrough)
What I learned
- How to use UE5 for world building
- How to use UE5 blueprint
- Level design principles
- How to utilize those level design principles to enhance player experience
- Relationship between architectural design in real world and level design in game
